Surprise My fellow Smf's forgot late 80's movie,The Lost Boys.One of the frog brothers says I just killed one of the vampires that looked liked Twisted Sister,whiched he meant looked liked Dee.Great horror movie too.

Fan Since 81 - Demi was in No Small Affair along with Jon Cryer....however, she starred with John Cusack in One Crazy Summer...and I definitely remember watching it and being taken off guard when I heard Twisted Sister while watching it. I actually didn't realize INGUN was in it until I saw the credits rolling as I had not heard the song yet at the point, and watched the movie again, to try to hear it, but couldn't figure it out. I just realized the Mark Metcalfe also appeared in One Crazy Summer (as per IMDB.com). Interesting tie in.

The Sitcom Kate & Allie. One of them mentioned they were going to a Twisted Sister concert.

Movie "Sister Act 2", there was a comment. "Talk about a Twisted Sister" -Goldberg

The very short lived 80's Sitcom, Bean's Baxter, Dee made an thorough appearance. It was a spoof of The Excorist. WNGTI cured the brainwashed kids.

Movie "Just one of the Guys"....one of the cafeteria scenes someone had a Twisted Sister shirt on.

Some commercials..Comtrax, 7up, there's at least one more if I'm not mistaken, it's escaping me.

And the NY Yankees played WNGTI before every home game and after every game they won in 1993. Jim Abbott(one handed pitcher) pitched a no-hitter that year in September....TS sounded great over that sound system when they had exciting wins.

So I'm at home bored, flicking channels and I come across the movie, "Flight of the Navigator."
Remember it from back in the day, so watch for a while. Gets to the scene where the kid asks Sarah Jessica Parker why she has pink hair, to which she replies that she's been to see TWISTED SISTER the previous night!!
This got me thinking about other times I could remember a TWISTED reference/appearance from the movies!!

OK, so there was TWISTED doing "Burn In Hell", in Pee-Wee's Big Adventure.
"We killed the one that looks like TWISTED SISTER!", from the Lost Boys.
DEE had a small cameo in "Private Parts."

And thats all I could come up with!! Any fellow SMFS have any memories of any others? There must be heaps more!!

Also remember a TWISTED reference in Stephen Kings,"IT".

Come on you SMFS, kick your memories into gear!!

Great topic, everyone has such good memories! Thank god the ones I was thinking of were listed in case my memory failed! lol...good going!
