Travelled over with Funtazia for show and we discovered we were on the same flight as JayJay, who very graciously came over for a chat and some photos. We also managed to catch up briefly with PatrickS77 and Armadillo after the show. I won't say anything about the show itself (other than TS kicked ass) as I'm sure Terry will do his usual sterling job, however I would like to thank the arena staff who brought us hot coffee when we were queuing up in snow, and Fatal Smile (first band on the bill) for placing their pyro flamethrowers in front of us to thaw us out . Not that we were complaining - frostbite is a small price to pay for front row spots! It was my first time in Sweden and I have to say I was extremely impressed with the organisation and friendliness of all the people we came across. Now I'm off to plan the next roadtrip The return trip was interesting - late planes, lost luggage (Heathrow baggage handlers aren't as organised and friendly as the Swedes!) but we did get the opportunity for another short chat with JayJay. Anyhow - while we wait for Terry's road report I've uploaded some photos of the show on the Slamboard Gallery: http://www.twistedsister.com/mbbs2/photos/photo-thumbnails.asp?albumid=270&Page=2 Edited by marty 2013-12-16 5:07 PM

P.S - just noticed the above link is to page 2 of the album so just in case you miss a few .......... http://www.twistedsister.com/mbbs2/photos/photo-thumbnails.asp?albumid=270&Page=1

Late planes, lost luggage, frostbite, hours of boredom in line... you are well on your way to becoming a road reporter! That is my life now and it's awesome. And don't forget...meatballs! I wouldn't dare to try and follow your act Terry - I'll maybe aim for the post of 'Roving Photographic Documentarian' . Unfortunately I didn't get as many as usual this time as whoever had control of the stage mist button had a fairly heavy hand - meaning that the combination of stage lights and fog turned quite a few pictures into something resembling a chapter from a Stephen King novel . As far as meatballs went - I didn't get any!!??!! - did however manage a few Swedish beers and made very good use of the hotel Sauna! And as for the luggage ..................... I had a few nervous nights waiting for my colours, autographs and newest T-shirts to follow me home (not to mention the wife's Christmas pressie!!). I see there's a couple of new dates out for next summer and more to come - planning needs to be done!
