Posted today on the Twisted Sister Facebook page:
"There will STILL be At least 3 more TWISTED SISTER Concert Announcements coming soon (3 more countries) - Don't believe the rumors about us playing somewhere until WE post it here first for you...The only people that know what dates they will be is US, Our booking Agent Daniel Stanton at Coallier Entertainment and the promoter....!"

So keep in mind that any places you see on the slam-board are wishes and guesses. (and they don't tell me either...my travel agent must think I smoke crack with some of the last minute travel requests I come in with!)

How about New York? Sorry but the ballroom in NJ doesnt count for me. And I was a travel agent one, among other occupations, and no, I dont think you smoke crack, but as I am no longer a world traveler, I would love for the bcand to play NY again. Its great that they have new fans but what about those of us in NY who were around in the 80's? Sure you and a group of other fans get to go to JJ's apartment and raid the archives but since I am too notorious for the uppper west side, how about giving me a show in midtown manhattan?

just playing devil's advocate here, Nancyde... if we look historically at this reunion tour, they did play some great NYC shows including the Christmas shows--plus the ones in Poughkeepsie and several on Long Island--which is pretty awesome given that they play 10-15 shows a year. the fact that many of them have been in New York is a real bonus. That said, we see 7 shows up now on the website: Mexico, New Jersey, Sweden, Germany, Austria, Oklahoma and an island that I still can't find on the map. Last year, they only played 10 shows total. If memory serves me correctly-- Brazil, Chile, Sweden (twice), Belgium, Texas, Wisconsin, France...was M3 last year? That would make 9... and a benefit show on L.I. Only the L.I. benefit show was a club--the rest were large arenas and festivals.

TS has announced there are three more coming--that gives us 10. I truly don't know where they'll play those three shows, but if you look at the pattern--only 1 of those 7 shows is in a club. (Starland) The rest are all huge festivals. The likelihood of a NY show just seems like it would be unlikely compared to the possibility of them playing a festival here in the states or abroad in another country. I totally understand if folks aren't in a position to travel outside their country (it's difficult, sometimes a little scary and expensive) and I even understand when folks can't take a flight across many states. But c'mon-- NY has one of the BEST transit systems in the U.S.-- it is totally possible to get to New Jersey from NY--and I don't think it would be too difficult to get to the club by some local means or maybe even a fellow S.M.F. here.

The whole reason why I began writing the Armadillo Road Reports was to share the concert experience with TS fans everywhere, and encourage more fans who share our passion to come to the live shows to experience it for themselves. (Especially those who missed out on the club days--this may be one of their few chances!) I would hate for you to miss out on the fun of a reunion concert experience, waiting for a Manhattan show (that might possibly never happen) when there will be a show just an hour or so away. Although I confess--it WOULD be so cool to see them play Madison Square Garden!

(and for the record: I have never been to Jay Jay's apartment as I'm convinced he's moved his archives into a hollowed out mountain somewhere in the New Mexican desert.)

an island that I still can't find on the map.

LOL I was checking out flights to that island, as it would be amazing, but I had to laugh when I saw the prices.... +/- 2,500 $.

It WAS cool seeing them play the Garden! I saw them play at Madison Square Garden's Felt Forum with Ratt in 83 or 84 not sure which year- too many drugs. And I have been to his apartment many times but I dont even go to tUptown Manhattan anymore. I was always a midtown girl. anyway As for Jersey, well nuff said! I am holding out for that show and it better happen. Don't make me have to come over there!

Okay...so HOW cool will it be to see Stephen Pearcy (I'm sure he'll perform lots of RATT) opening again for TS. Hope to see you there! :-) P.S. TS says they'll announce another date at the end of this week....fingers crossed....

Another concert to be announced this week according to TS Facebook page.

Patrick - I feel your pain - the Faroe Islands is the closest venue to my house in years - but almost impossible to get to without bankrupting myself - 100 times more expensive than London and more than twice the cost of getting over the Atlantic to Mexico!! Hoping for one of the alreadyannounced European gigs or maybe one of the 3 still to come

OK so they can promote their tour like this. You get a flatbed truck and drive through midtown like the Stones did in '75. As soon as the snow melts on the streets of NYC... Come on JJ- make it happen. See you in April !!!

....really, I can't believe it's that expensive. What do danish people do to get there.... it's part of Denmark after all!? You should come to Austria. I think Ryanair is flying from London to Salzburg. But then again, you now have Download.

Ah, you should do that the other way round. I might go to Vienna after the gig. But then again... if I do as Terry says and just hand over the card, I might go to the Faroe Island right after the gig. ;-)

Yeah, that would be fun, but I guess we should start paddleing pretty soon then.

Oh just do what I do. Open up a few credit cards, use them for small little purchases and pay immediately...then they start bumping up your credit limit. THEN...I just CLOSE my eyes...take a DEEEEEEP breath....book the flights and hotels.....and tell myself...it's just money. it's just money. in a few years, the debt will be paid down and I'll have the most awesome memories to savor. I'm hoping to make every show this tour except I don't know if I can swing the Download festival, which would be three trips to Europe AND those crazy islands... I don't have that much credit! it will be fun to try....

The problem there would be that the animals are supposed to go in an ark "two by two" ..... and two 'Animals' on just one boat might get awful interesting!!
