Full-On SMF Posts: 56 Location: Oklahoma | Twisted Sister should re-record all of the albums like still hungry. I think this would be a great idea. what do you guys think?

Extreme SMF Posts: 190 Location: Austria | Well, to be honest, "Still hungry" wasn't needed. I know they were not pleased with the original sound, but really, when I wanna listen to "Stay hungry", I listen to the original. There's not even a debate. And it is kinda tacky to re-record an album.

Full-On SMF Posts: 83 Location: Belgium | I am one of those SMF"s who espacially like the heavier sound. And the more metal-like songs (Burn In Hell, Destroyer, The Beast,...) But I think it would make more sense to record a new album than to re-record an old one. Twisted Sister is one of those bands who recall on their past to be relevant. The differance with other bands is that they still are live absolutely epic to watch and hear. So it's not only because of their heritage but also because of how they still play that a new record would make more sense. All those new people who (re)discover TS at these major European/world festivals are potential buyers of a new album and the old ones. A re-issue wouldn't bring something new and would only underline TS legacy and not highlight the brilliant band they still are. Edited by Hellburner 2014-04-29 3:36 PM

Nearly A Band Member Posts: 944 | metro2142 - 2014-04-22 6:12 PM the exact same point of still hungry. to give fans a new spin on a classic part of the reason it was re-recorded was to make it heavier the way the band had originally wanted. another reason though was at the time atlantic records still had the rights to it which is why it was never reissued through eagle records like everything else.
