Setlist is correct-- I must be hallucinating. Did I just read that someone was GLAD they DIDN'T go? Thank you SMF Eeyore

Well….geez. self-selection in a way. You know how Dee is always singling out that person who isn't rocking out…or not rocking out hard enough…or not singing loud enough? Last night--he didn't do that…because he didn't need to! Every person who was there--and let me tell ya, I think the place was sold out because it was packed and LOUD as shit--every person there was rocking out hard, and clearly, VERY happy to hear all the hits. GREAT CROWD--and we got a bonus of Motorhead….MOTORHEAD! That alone was worth the 3 hour drive.

TS is playing a stale setlist. I won't pay $50 for it.

Are you joking? I wish I could have been there. When Armadillo said Motorhead I thought of Redding- which was amazing. Anyway, $50.00 is nothing to see TS. Other bands that I saw for free lots of times, now charge ten times that much and I can understand what you are saying in those cases- I Draw The Line there. But $50.00 for TS ? They are a bargain at any price! They put on an awesome show and kill themselves to entertain. (I don't even understand how they do it... It's what they do, I know. I just don't relate- I love to sing but I don't love to perform). $50.00 for that set by TS is a gift in my opinion!

I've seen TS five times. The last time I saw them was at the Freehold Sandy Charity, and it was a shortened set. I saw them do "Stay Hungry" already at the Starland.

And I've seen Twisted probably a hundred times. And each and every time it gets better and better.
NEVER have I seen a band that does a live show as well as Twisted, they ALWAYS blow the roof off the place, no matter WHAT songs they play.
To each his own.

$50 is too much to see the legendary Twisted Sister play? I beg to differ. In fact, they played Dont Let Me Down AND Street Justice. They NEVER play those 2 songs. Add in Born to Raise Hell (Motorhead cover) and my god, the $50 price of admission was too effin cheap! Those 3 songs were worth the price of admission anytime. Hell, I'd pay $100 to hear those songs live again. To me, it's worth every single penny I spend to just see the boyz play because one day soon they are gonna be gone forever. So cherish each time they play in a city near you. Spend your hard earned cash to see them...you never know, it could be your last time seeing them play.

Didn't Stephen Pearcy and Killcode play...?

I would imagine everyone would like to get paid...Club, staff, Bands, Roadies, bartenders, cleanup crew......etc.

50.00 is cheap....its 2014 not 1985.

Killcode really impressed me--and yes, Stephen Pearcy played as well. $50 is very reasonable for an evening of quality bands--check out the ticket prices of KISS and Metallica lately? That show was ANYTHING but stale last night--I have seen and heard variations of the Stay Hungry set many, many times--it is different each and every time, and has always been a heck of a lot of fun. Quite frankly, Twisted could play anything and make it kick ass--that's the real beauty of it--they are a LIVE band. What they play is almost irrelevant compared to how they play. I've heard other bands play amazing set lists….badly. (Stephen Pearcy did a terrible job with his Judas Priest cover. perfect example.)

I have a right to complain just like people who want a new TS album have a right to say that they want a new one. I agree with the band that they shouldn't release a new album, but people have a right to say that they want a new album. You can't compare a band like Kiss playing an outside shed or arena to Twisted Sister playing a club, and the ticket costs.

I understand. If I had my pick, I'd love to hear more YCSRNR, UTB and some of the rare tracks and plenty of covers--but I completely understand that they really do HAVE to play "I Wanna Rock" and "We're Not Gonna Take It" and "The Price" and "Burn in Hell"….yep. there are fans that waited 30 years to hear those tracks live--they deserve it--if they came to the show and didn't hear them, they'd be horribly disappointed.

While I get your point--a big arena show with huge production will always cost a boatload more than a small no-frill club….I guess I look at it this way: when you get the ticket and see the show, were you entertained? Did you get your money's worth? There are bands that are charging outlandish ticket prices right now--and the entertainment value is FAR beneath that ticket price. They have big names out there (I'm not talking KISS right now….and I'm not saying which bands because that will ultimately rile someone up) and they are commanding big ticket prices and the shows are absolute CRAP.

Twisted Sister played some small clubs in Brazil, Argentina and Greece and I can tell you…because I bought those club tickets…they were NOT inexpensive. And oh my god--entertainment? they were worth every single nickel--four of the best shows I've ever seen in my life, and that includes all of the amazing and awesome big tour/high production shows I saw in the 80's when ALL of the bands were in their prime. Listen, you didn't dig the evening's theme and you did the right thing--you stayed home. That meant that a ticket was available for that fan who waited 30 years to hear them play.

The club was all smiles Saturday night--I've never seen such a happier U.S. crowd. And so many times, I heard folks say "This is my first Twisted Sister show! I've waited so long for this!" It was really special. What they played didn't really matter….it was just the fact THAT they played at all.
