Sadly the great Mr. Lynott passed away shortly after this. |

| That's right. Apparently Phil was hung over real bad after partying with Richard Gere and Matt Dillon. |

Location: Chicago | Great song! Love Phil Lynott and Thin Lizzy! Such a shame and huge loss. With all due respect to Dee, Phil is my all-time favorite song writer. The guy was an amazing story teller. Twisted is still and always has been my favorite band live but Lizzy wrote some of my all-time favorite songs. I saw this video years ago and thought that looked like Animal but figured it was just someone that looked like him. Does anyone know for sure if that's him? |

| I've read about it from somewhere years ago. Here's one such link describing the sad decline of Phil.
http://xavianthaze.blogspot.fi/2012/10/the-last-days-of-phil-lynott.html?m=1
"While Phil wasn’t physically in the best mood for the video shoot, thanks to partying in Hollywood the previous evening with actors Richard Gere and Matt Dillon, the assembled mix of bikers and the bass player from Twisted Sister all made up for a rousing music video that stretched from the California deserts to the astonished gazes of the passer-by’s found on Hollywood Blvd, as a truck with enormous speakers blasted the song while shinning a spotlight on the noisy bikers that howled across the wicked streets of Hollywood." |
