"Friday, September 29th • Come and meet legendary rock drummer AJ Pero from Twisted Sister as he demonstrates the fundamental of rock drumming. AJ is currently touring nonstop with Twisted Sister and embarking on numerous side projects such as Tred and Sonic Stomp.

AJ pero's current side project "Tred" is with guitarist extraordinaire Mike Orlando and Bassist Lenny Rocillo. A.J joined forces with Mike Orlando's Sonic Stomp for a reason. "If there was a guitarist that could make the grade it is definitely Mike" States Pero. "After one listen you know he's the one that can add flavor with heart and soul to anything" Sonic Stomp was formed in early 2005 by Mike Orlando and Lenny Rocillo has left a everlasting mark to the term "Guitar Shredders"

The clinic will be 90 minutes, A One Hour performance of AJ Pero with Mike Orlando's Sonic Stomp. And then a 30 minute Q&A!!!... Also this event will be filmed for future clinic home video. So come out, don't miss this one time event with one of the most influential rock drummers of all time!!!!"

What we have on Sonic Stomp is 12 tracks of smoking guitar work. There is nothing here that really points to a totally original style but I think Mike sound is something of an amalgamation of Zakk Wylde, Jason Becker and Steve Vai - the guy can play no question. Mike has some incredible runs and his backing tracks are also of high standard that allow a number of style of guitar to be presented. Fans of hi-octane lead work that sees tremendous right hand picking will find a lot to enjoy here. Tracks that standout include the Satriani-ish Horizons and Velvet Sky, which are slower in tempo and home to more melodic style of play, the grooving Slam and the shred delights of the title track Sonic Stomp.
